About Dara: Dara Jeffries is the Vice-President of the Jewish Community of Oporto, of which she has been a member since she was a child. She is also a representative of the Community with respect to its cultural endeavors internationally and has spoken at International Film Festivals and conferences about the Community’s films, museums and educational programs. Dara holds a Masters in languages from Oxford University, a Portuguese Law degree and a US Law degree, and is a practicing attorney. Dara and her husband Dale, a retired musician and professor, have two grown sons, and split their time between Portugal and Miami.
About Ashley: Ashley Perry (Perez) is an international strategic, communications consultant and election campaign adviser to international leaders, governments, companies, organizations, and individuals in a variety of fields and arenas at the highest levels globally, helping his clients win elections and successfully navigate political, business and reputational campaigns. He is President of Reconectar, an organization that seeks to reconnect with the over 200 million descendants of Spanish and Portuguese Jewish communities, and former Director of the Knesset Caucus for Reconnection with the Descendants of Spanish and Portuguese Jewish communities.
